Great post!
You need to find the right website designer for the right job. Different web developers have different set of skills so you really need to spend time understanding their capabilities and experiences. There are so many people out there that think all designers are the same including me until I met you guys (Websifu) few years back. Even though as a business owner we all share the same sense of balance and understand the basic principles of a good design.
Thanks for sharing!
Very precise opinion. You should understand your business nature and objectives before having a website. By having a website will not bring you anything if you’re not serious about using it to improve your business. Various mediums require various types of experiences and skills set so you should evaluate it first before making any decision.
I think communication and the portfolio with client testimonials are very good points to consider when choosing a proper website designer. I don’t think personality play a big role since I believe as long as the designer looks decent enough it should be okay. But as for me, I always believed in my instinct. When I feel its right I just go for it as long as my objectives of having a website based on the requirements are fulfilled.
Thank you for an excellent post.
